Cowboy’s Pride Horse Rescue Foundation is a Non-Profit corporation striving to better the lives of neglected, abused, and slaughter-bound horses. All donations are tax deductible and are greatly appreciated. Cowboy’s Pride could not continue to rescue and rehabilitate horses without generous people from across the world who are willing to donate and volunteer their time. All of us here at the rescue including the horses are grateful for every donation the rescue receives no matter how small, every penny helps!

You can become a Horsey Hero by chosing a horse from our horses in rehab page to sponsor during their recovery. Sponsorship of one of these horses is $200/month to help cover the cost of their hay, grain, ferrier services, de-worming and any needed vet care. You can also chose to co-sponsor a horse either with a friend or another caring stranger. Once you chose to sponsor a horse you will be sent a current photo of your sponsored horse as well as the horses story. Once you have sponsored a horse for 3 months, you will be sent a certificate of sponsorshihp, a personalized photo of your horse as well as an update of the progress you have helped your sponsored horse make. More frequent updates are available by requecting one in email. Sponsors are also invited to come out once a month to visit their sponsored horse and give him/her treats, a nice brushing or just some extra love. You have the option of mailing your sponsorship money or we also accept Paypal.
All sponsorships and donations are tax deductable.
Donate Your Time!
We couldn’t make it without the wonderful volunteers we have! We ALWAYS need help with the day to day labor of caring for the horses in our care. These chores include: Cleaning stalls, scrubbing water/feed buckets, feeding and watering the horses, grooming, exercising the horses, etc.
Donate Your Horse!
Since we established our horsemanship classes to help educate children and adults in Nov. 2007, we are always needing horses to use. If you have a horse that you have retired or are no longer using, consider donating it for this purpose or let us love and care for your horse while we find it a new home.
We also take in off the track TBs and QHs even if they have soundness issues. Please consider donating these horses rather than taking them to auction to an almost certain fate. They deserve a chance at a productive life beyond the race track.
TAX DEDUCTIONS ARE GIVEN FOR DONATED HORSES! (Usually we give more than what most sellers are even asking for their horses, so consider this!)
We also have the need for people with experience with the following who would be willing to donate their time:
Building/Construction
Electrician
Fence Installation
Grant Writers
Fundraisers
Any one with ideas for fundraising activities or willing to help with an upcoming fundraiser, please contact me and let me know! We always appreciate the help and love hearing new ideas!
All donations are used to directly benefit the horses and we get the most we can out of each donation no matter how big or how small.
All persons who donate will be featured on our website for the year the donation was made unless they request to remain annonymous.
